During this time of heightened anxiety and worry about COVID-19, we want you to know that we will continue to provide you, our patients, the best care we can possibly offer. Our offices will stay open, and we will continue to see patients. In the unlikely event of a government-required quarantine, we will follow the law as necessary.
If you find the anxiety of going out in public is too much for you during this time, or you have been quarantined as a result of possible exposure to COVID-19, we will be here for you. We have the capacity to offer video or telephone sessions should you find yourself housebound. If this is the case, please contact us about how to schedule these appointments.
Simonsen+Shepard Behavioral Health is following recommendations made by the CDC, and as such we are sanitizing high-touch areas daily for your protection. Our staff is vigilant about our own health, and will respect you and not put you at risk should any of us show signs of fever, or find we have been in contact with anyone testing positive for COVID-19.
We ask that you also take care of your own health. Please follow CDC guidelines for prevention and care, which you can find at www.cdc.gov. If you show any signs of fever or flu-like symptoms, please do not come to our office, but rather contact your physician or go to an ER if you need immediate medical attention. Again, if you are unable to come to our office, we are working on a video option to help you manage the anxieties associated with these unusual circumstances, as well as other the other life events with which we all deal. We will keep you posted on that development.
While these events are unusual and may never impact us to a great extent, we want you to know that we are committed to providing you with exceptional mental health care, and will be with you as COVID-19 and its impact on us all unfolds.
Life brings us challenges and, like the changing tides, it can be easy to lose sight of where we are heading. Rather than being in charge of life, life starts to take charge of us. We are a partnership of psychologists providing dynamic life change strategies from highly trained and uniquely qualified professionals. We at SSBH want to help you get headed in the right direction. You can reclaim what is rightfully yours. Are you ready to make a change?
Welcome to SIMONSEN + SHEPARD Behavioral Health.
